Leander Swimming Club needs an ambitious, committed, and enthusiastic part time coach. We are looking for somebody to work alongside our head coach Tyrone Blackett, to develop and maximise the performance of the Club's swimmers, primarily the Junior A squad.
Leander swimmers consistently win medals at County and District level and have a proven track record of sending swimmers to the Nationals. We are a swim21 accredited club, based in Balham, south London.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and dedicated, ideally qualified to club coach level, with some experience of coaching to a high competitive level. He or she will understand the priorities of coaching age group swimmers and be prepared to work at least one morning a week, evenings, weekends and attend meets as required. There will be a minimum of 12 hours per week, but additional coaching hours with swimmers at other levels may also become available. Applications will be accepted with a Level 2 certificate.
Pay and conditions will reflect the hours worked as well as the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.
A full CRB enhanced check will be required.
