Ladies and Gentlemen, we've all been completely duped by these crafty chinese.

No, I'm not talking drugs.
No, I'm not talking about faked firework displays.

I'm talking about the reason that damn pool hall is sooooooo large.

The Chinese wanted to put on the greatest swim meet ever at these Olympics, so they made absolutely certain that it would be. And what a great job they've done. No one suspects a thing.

The world wants records you say, well we'll give them world records. We'll give them world records by such massive margins everyone will be talking about our Olympic swim meet for years to come.

The plan:
- build a "50m" pool, but make it a teeny weeny bit shorter
- bribe the guy with the measuring tape
- build a magnificently glowing blue blob around the pool to distract everyone
- make the inside of the blue blob massive so everyone thinks that's why the pool looks so small.

Do we tell the organisers? Do we risk having all these amazing world records discounted? Ah hell, let's just pretend the pool's the right size and enjoy the
fun :)
