pool near croyde?

hey sou'westers,

can someone tell me a good place to put in a long session near Croyde?
want to measure distance, so sea is out. 25m, 50m or 33 - don't mind.

Suggest you contact the coach, Phillip Howe, at Barnstaple swimming club. They are likely to accept you as a guest swimmer. They have masters swimmers in the club. Or maybe you could swim during the day at the Barnstaple pool in a public session.
