Does anyone know when the new southern counties qualifying times will be published (or the time when they r usually published?) also does ne1 know when they nat youth QTs wil b published?
It is a bit early in the season for SC times. I think that getting National times at CP in Southern Counties is very tough: no atmosphere, timing system breakdown.
Qualify somewhere else! How many swimmers have confidence in London's Premier Pool!!!!!

swimmer, did you mean the Winter SC on 30/11 and 01/12? The times for these are out. Your coach should have all the infomation for you if you ask.

The Observer reported yesterday that it is now planned to rebuild Crystal Palace completely rather than refurbish it, spending five times as much as originally planned. Nearly all the report was about the stadium and swimming was mentioned only in passing. No time scale, beyond a bid for the 2012 Olympics.
They hope to get a football or rugby club as main user of the stadium. But imagine the traffic!

Ain't it about time they stopped building or planning to build new stadiums and facilities in traffic congested places like london! Why not put the new facilities somewhere else, with easier access!!!
After the fiasco of Wembley don't hold your breath!!

The Observer report implied that they needed a football or rugby club to make the project viable, but it's hard to imagine who'd go there. It said they were already talking to Crystal Palace, but I think Selhurst Park a few miles down the road is already bigger than the 25,000 planned for the new one; also they plan to talk to Fulham, but they have a firm plan to redevelop their own ground.
I support a non-league club playing in an athletics stadium and it's just not the same. There'd be an outcry if CP or Fulham announced plans to move there. Conversely, what rugby club would need more than 5,000 seats? I think they should forget about the stadium and just rebuild the swimming pool. :)

The Olympic pool in Sydney had NO parking. A surprise to hear maybe for some, but a brilliant idea. Everyone HAD to take mass transit and park somewhere outside the city center, or where ever they lived. An idea worth considering for every large city in the world. The transit took people conviently to the Homebush central point where a person could easily walk to whatever venue they were interested in.
Maybe these guys work for NASA or something.

a bummer for those compelting, i kno at some early hour in the morning before a busy day i DEFINITELY wouldn't feel like taking a mass transit bus in!!
