BMSS is a high achieving, forward thinking and elite swimming squad in the Northwest which currently has 95 members with a further 25-30 members in our recently established Club Link level.
BMSS holds the ASA Swim 21 accreditation in swimming/competitive development.
The squad has a number of highly talented swimmers (including disability) swimming at national and international level.
The squad has strong links with feeder clubs and our thriving club Link group is testament to this. BMSS is seeking to appoint a dynamic, talented but flexible coach who is committed to working as an integral part of the team composed of all the coaches and the BMSS committee.
Initiative and drive are expected in order to aid the implementation and delivery of the squads development programme to continue the production of National and international swimmers.
Applicants need to demonstrate excellence in coaching and have the flexibility to work across the levels with enthusiastic swimmers of all abilities. To this end the successful candidate must hold ASA Level 2 certificate as a minimum and preferably be working towards Level 3. A lifeguard qualification is essential as the candidate will be coaching independently. Please note that an enhanced CRB check will be required for the successful candidate.
