can anyone give me some ideas of where to find good literature/web site on how to teach diving to competition level. i'd love to do a course on it but there never seem to be any near me (Salisbury) - can anyone prove me wrong on this and tell me that there is one?
thanks

Well the obvious answer to your question about courses must be to contact Lindsay Fraser in Southampton, Olympic coach with divers including Peter Waterfield.
I know they hold coaches courses as my children have been 'guinea-pigs' for the aspiring coaches in the past - quite a challenge!
An alternative closer to you is Andover Marlins I presume although I dont know much about their setup. Good luck!

sorry, i think i may have misled you - i mean starts, as in diving in at the start of a race, as oposed to high diving. thanks for replying so quick crawler - but i think from your answer you meant the former sort of diving?

You have just missed a seminar on starts and turns. If you ring me, I can let you know of future workshops. 02380 692393:)
