OK so looks like next step becoming available at a Grand a shot!!!!! Any subsidies available fromn the SASA or is this a way of making them money at the expense of those delivering amateur programs?

OK so looks like next step becoming available at a Grand a shot!!!!!Spookily enough I was just having a look at the documents myself on the Scottish Swimming website.

It isn't clear that I can see but from a general look around I can see that the bursary for this course is up to £375.

I'm considering it (again!) but adding to that a round trip of 275 miles or so per element and overnight accommodation (or even more round trips and much tiredness) for sequential days I have to confess that the cost, combined with the irritation that I feel at there being no allowance given to those who have paid to educate themselves to ASA level 3 over those who have not is still getting the better of me. Besides as an active coach and STO I am already committed on some of those weekends.

Stupid really, I should just get over it but then I'm old and taking the qualification would not appear to actually serve me any purpose at this time.Any subsidies available fromn the SASA or is this a way of making them money at the expense of those delivering amateur programs? That's what the bursaries are for. Pay attention!

Even so, it's a lot cheaper than England because I had thought I might prefer to do it there. ;)
