Bedfordshire County Champs

This wekend (14th -15th March) is the first weekend of this years County Champs.

Well actually the 1500's were held a couple of weeks ago, so I guess strictly speaking that was the first weekend.

Anyway good luck to all who are competing this weekend, I hope that there will be loads of fantastic performances, and that everyone enjoys themselves.

Just had the second (main) and final weekend of our Counties, there were loads of great performances plenty of PB's a fair few new records of different flavors, and lots of very exhausted but happy kids by the end.

My step daughter came home with a new PB in virtually every event she entered, 13 individuals, and the free and medley relays in her own age group and in the open age group, three individual championship trophies a share of a relay trophy, 22 medals and a county record, that little lot will cost Grandad a fortune !!!!!!

Congrats to all who took part and to all the organisers, officials, behind the scenes bods, parents, coaches, for a great smooth running gala.
