I have just had an email from the welsh asa.
The Welsh Open Masters Championship will now be short course at Penlan Leisure Centre, in Swansea.
Those that were looking for a competition in the new 50m pool will have to wait for the GB's in June.

Any views on whether the GBs will definitely go ahead at the new pool in Swansea? It still says 'tbc' on the british swimming website although I'm not sure if this means the date or the venue.

I think the ASA are just being careful, although booking another 50m pool at this time would probably be difficult.
My understanding is that the pool will only just miss being ready for the Welsh Open, so I don't see a problem for the GB's.
On the other hand I'm not a big wig in the ASA so you shouldn't believe anything I tell you.

Surely that's a reason why we should believe anything you tell us...;):D
