sorry but i think this pole is a bit obvious, on fact alone, Eengland has the more higher ranked swimmers than scotland/wales or ireland.

Let's not mention rules!
Perhaps a pro-rata population to current British Record holders might show a fair result. Or perhaps someone has a cleverer way of calculating.

Unfortunately they don't have a Home International Competition these days. I remember they did in the 60's & 70's; televised on Grandstand.

I would agree that Scotland do rule but I would say that England do have a lot more clubs and have very talented swimmers

lets face it the best swimmer in GB is Scottish Alison Shepperd ok i might be bias towards that as we were in the same club squad.

Shame M+B have fallen who were once the mightiest team in scotland.

and who are the tougher swimmers at the skins events mmmmm is it the scots i think so.

Do we have English Records apart from British records? We have Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish ones :rainbow: Would this show who recorded the quickest times?

Thanks for nice comment DDart4419 I guess she impressed a lot of people the other weekend ! :) especially me ! took a look at s14 criteria for classification after our chat and nearly fainted how does anyone get all that without a 2nd mortgage??
