What other sports do you do to keep fit? I do Rugby as a main sport and then play football, squash and Tennis every now and again down at the local sports rec.

I used to do alot of running, got in to county team after doing a thing for my school just to get out of some lessons, never trained for runing or nothing, there was me standing there next to all these people with spikes and proper running stuff, n theres me with a pair of old trainers and a baggy tshirt n shorts n i won without even trained in running, think i picked the wrong sport to concentrate in!

Well it's not to keep fit or anything, just for a laugh, but me and my housemates at uni have been playing plenty of football and tennis recently what with the good weather and all...
I coach trampolining and sometimes have a bounce myself!

I also do trampolining Kaci, with the uni team. I've been trying to get on a coaching course for ages but the dates they come up with ALWAYS clash with swimming galas!!
I don't do any other sport, however I want to start rugby again but I don't think it will because I don't have enough time to do it

Rugby is a great sport and really helps keep you fit. If youcan do one or two hours a week of training then that would be brilliant for you.

I'm the same as Dangermouse ended up doing cross country and track and field to make up the numbers at school. I ended up being quite good and winning a few things very strange since I never trained for it and was always the one in the t-shirt, shorts and the trainers I used for landwork when everyone else was in their proper running gear. I know a few other swimmers who were quite good at athletics too. I put it down to all the hours we spend in the pool our stamina keeps us going in the rain and wind when any normal person would have just gone home for a nice warm shower

As long as you don't break your leg or something...:p That said I love rugby, just haven't played since I left university.

Thus adding to the excitement of the game, unless it does actually happen to you

Yeah thats what I thought, but you notice the next day that swimming training isn't the best for running as after cross country runs you ache like made the next day all over and can barely move in the pool all week! I used to do rugby at school as well but stopped that after I broke my wrist and had to have it pinned in two places as I did a good job on breaking it

That used to happen to me then my coach got sick of me aching the day after and gave me an extra set of stretchs for runners they worked either that or my body was afraid to complain incase it got extra work again.
