Well done to Gibbo and his coach Ben Titley for winning Britain's first individual gold at the World Champs since David Wilkie in 1975.
Well done also to Ian Edmond and his coach Tim Jones on a great Commonwealth record in the 200 breast.

Gibson's been on a steep curve and is one of our biggest hopes for Athens. He's proved his credentials here - now hopefully we'll see something even more special in the year ahead....
Edmond has also made huge leaps this year and again if he can just get a bit faster he has a shot at an Olympic medal.
On a side note, I hear Ben confisgated the gold medal but let him keep the bonze. Apparently this will help motivate Gibson.
Just watching Thorpe's attempt at breaststroke. Can't see him taking up that event any time soon!! :p

I wasn't sure whether that was serious about the confiscation?!?! I don't think I would have taken the medal off to be confiscated yet if I was GIbson!! Ian Edmond was brilliant as well, fingers crossed 4 his final.

That confiscation bit was in an interview he did with Ms Davies, where he said he would when they got back, to help him focus on what he can do in the 100m, which is his main event supposedly.
And what about what Ben said about the 50m Breast then? Even HE kind of 'rubbished' the achievement, so you lot who had a pop at Matt in another thread are in good company! lol
You are so funny GF, I wish I had your sense of humour....ha ha ha:p

I could also add that Matt is in good company with James G, being good at 50m Breast. (But I won't ...)
