View Full Version : Wanted - Long Leg Open back Fastskin - Special Edition Emperor Blue

Hi ,
Anyone out there who might have a hardly worn long legged ( size 28") open back fastskin - Any Unusual colours / Special edition ones that you might want to sell? I'm after an Emperor Blue/ blue one at reasonable cost for daughter or even a Black one in good cond. ...

Just in case anyone is upgrading theirs from last season for a new one , at Christmas ....

Got one of the new Navy/ Gold/ Yellow ones already , but worn her other long Black legsuit out .... they don't last long do they ? They have only been worn for Galas /Open Meets......

Not keen on the cherry red/ Black new ones ( the old black ones look nicer )
Noticed an all Emperor Blue suit ( no arms) in the sale section on Allenswear , but it is in sizes s/m/l which I presume are male sizes or do you think they fit universally..

I've checked EBAY , but no fastskins for sale at present ...

And apparently will fit someone up to Size 28 or so (they are meant to be tight!!!)

We haven't actually received them yet (they're in the post!) but we bought them in the knowledge that they may not fit the person for whom they were purchased!!!

They are brand new and unused though.

Got a 28 " longlegged open back already , which fits her fine , Speedo 32 in normal swimsuit , is it a USA SIZE and is it likely to fit ?
27" kneeskin with a zip is toooooo small ..

The beautful Kaci is the one that would be able to help you there as she has UK/USA/Australian Fastskins and will be able to tell you the difference between the sizes.

I'm sure that just as soon as she senses a compliment she'll be here in a flash!!!! ;)

Chris says you have ladies Fastskin expertise knowledge ( an addiction to unusual fastskins too), so ....
Could I please ask for your advice....

Do you think a USA size 26" open back kneeskin as per Chris's photo , will fit as per a 28" UK openback long legskin for sizing ?

ie Daughter in a Speedo normal swimsuit size 32" ...... and a 27" uk zip up kneeskin is now toooo small ......and Open back long leg suit size UK 28" fits fine.

do the US sizes equate ?
( any possiblity of returning it/ refund if it doesn't fit etc.)

Perhaps I can also assist re training info near to Alsager .. see other thread re NASC ... I also work near to Alsager , and yes it is rather in the middle of no where ... but having some local swimming knowledge might assist you ..

as a general rule of thumb, speedo usa costumes come up 2 sizes smaller than UK speedo. this is true of costumes altough I don't know about fastskins

I have exactly the same US bathers as Chris is selling but in the normal swim suit, it is US size 28 and feels like a UK 28. The good thing is the straps are thicker and the suit is cut differently so if you have a medium/big chest the suit fits so much better. The material also feels much more robust than the UK fastskins.

I love the cut of US fastskin suits...

It sounds as if the size 26 may be too small then ...
Emo's in a 28" UK Longleg openback fastskin now , and a normal speedo 32" , so she is probably a 28" US size then ...

Sorry Chris , but if you do have any 28" fastskins in future will you please let me know.

Thanks for your help , I think it sounds as if a size 32 " uk speedo ( normal swimsuit , and a 30" competitions suit probably equates to a US size 28" ..... so Emo's a bit to big for the 26" ...... she will be dissapointed.

I think it was your good self who put us on to Allenswear and the Navy / Gold / with yellow leg inserts ones she has now ..... so thanks .
No one else has been seen wearing them in the North West yet ...
she thinks they are fab and she knocked 13 secs off her 200 F/S p.b. at the Stafford Apex ( Wolverhampton ) Long Distance Gala in them last weekend ... doing a 2.33.54, which ranks her up to first at County level in her age group.

This might be of interest to you , Allenswear have emailed me today ,
they apparently have some male longleg Special edition Fastskins , no arms , in all over Emperor Blue - ( not the two tone blue ones) in the catalogue , but all over one colour , available in male sizes only s/ml/ sizes - not in original packaging , but at a price of £99.99 .....

It is under their special offers section ....
