Snow!!!

hee hee everyone, we have snow! :p i might go sledging today, or make a snowman, can't quite decide....!!!
i doubt any of u southerners have snow yet, but we are set for a white christmas! odds are 3:1 for snow on xmas day in aberdeen. odds for NO snow in london on xmas day - 1:14. doesn't look too good for u guyz! :rolleyes: :) :king:

Here in Surrey the sun is shining, the sky is blue, the grass is verdant - beautiful day. (But I'd love to have some snow...)

We had snow here yesterday but it melted overnight :( I can see some mountains from here (don't know which ones they are! Just big hills i think!) and they're completely white. There's also lots of snow up at my friend's house (she lives up on the moors).

My daughter recently turned 14 - we have some great photos of her in snow as a one-year-old and that is literally the last time we had any lasting more than a couple of hours. In the winter of 1962-3 my school in a village near Cardiff was shut between early January and March. It was like the Antarctic. Amazing that things can change so much in one generation between places 100 miles apart.

we have snow here (north yorks wolds - malton) and theres loads in my second home (scarborough too hehe) I'm going sledging later actually (just a big kid really), now gotta go find som fertiliser bags - guess who probably wont be able to walk, let along train tomorrow night!

We have about 6 inches of snow, it was great sledging outside today. I gather it is forcast to all melt but I am hoping for it to stay cold on the mountains with more snow and get some skiing in before too long - yippee!
