i won medals on saturday!

yes, it's true, i actually won some medals at the recent wiltshire league masters competition - and i actually had to beat people to get one of them! i came third out of six for 25m brest-stroke in a time of 20.88sec. ok, no world record but i was pleased. my other swims were 100m fly in 1min39, 50m back in 43sec, and 100m f/c in 1min24. was disappointed in the fly, i died on the last length, but i think i did ok (for me) in the other two. i got third in the fly just because only three of us did it!

sorry, i realise this is probably really boring for all you fast people who win medals all the time but i was excited!

What age group are you - A I think? If it's any consolation you're not the slowest Master on the forum - you'd have to have to have cement flippers to be any slower than me! Well done on your medals. I have won two in my short swimming career (both for being last!) but I was over the moon when I got them seeing as they were for fly. No-one on here will knock it, as they say, "you gotta be in it to win it!"
