We've created a business and product brand from our own bad experiences with the fogging of swimming goggles.

It dates back a year, when we looked into antifogs for scuba masks. We gave up on using spit. We were disappointed with the results from some brands we bought and hence, as a chemist, I set about formulating my own product.

We noted too that most brands of scuba antifogs were not recommended for swimming goggles because many are eye irritants.

A year on and we have developed Salclear AquaSport. The testbed for this was my 6 year old boy in our local heated indoor pool.

We were also aware that there were antifog goggles on the market, but certainly in our stringent tests that we perform, the goggles were not antifog at all. Indeed antifog solutions made by the same producers had very little effect either.

Have any in this forum had the same problems? Please let us know at antimist@salclear.com, www.salclear.com

We would be happy to offer a free sample to the first 5 swimming clubs to contact us. The product retails at 8.79. Its not that cheap, but then again its not just water in a fancy package, and it does what its supposed to do as well. One application should last a day, its washoff resistant.

If you swim every day a single application to each lens of the goggles and the bottle will last you a total of 5 months. Thats just under 6p per swim. Peformance and value.

our best regards from Salclear.
