I don't know, but maybe they are being held with the Open/Junior Championships in the winter this year.

Sorry dunno, but if it makes you feel better we aren't getting any open relays at the Scottish Nationals this year either.

Surely we (as Britain) need more relay practise at competitions and not less?! The Americans have relays at nearly every competition....and look how successful their relays have been at olympics...:p

I have just received the full conditions for the Summer Championships and they state that:

"Open relays will be held at the end of November as part of the Open and Junior long course Championships".

The full conditions will be on the web when I get a spare minute or 10.

I'm confused....there's no open relays at southerns? How are we supposed to qualify for nationals without them? Last year Amersham swum the 3 relays at southerns and qualified for youth nationals in them all! Am I missing something?! :confused:

There are youth relays so you could use those to qualify for youth nationals.

Thanks again. I havn't entered myself personally because I've been out with glandular fever. My coach has entered me though - probably the reason for my confusion!
