I can give you the QT's for last years meet (my coach has'nt given me this years swimming handbook yet) there almost certainly the same as this year. If you are refering to the Irish Open Age Group Championships (Div 1.) in Limerick in the summer then:

Male U15(1989)

Please note there are only 6 events (ex. relays) at the Age Groups.

100free QT: 0:59.90
400free QT: 4:40.00
100back QT: 1:09.50
100brest QT: 1:18.00
100fly QT: 1:09.50
200Ind. Medley QT: 2:29.00

Your easily within these. :king:

One thing for you to remember before you start slagging off other nations' swimmers is that Ireland has a smaller population than England, so to achieve the right number of competitors the times don't have to be as fierce. There are probably MUCH faster times achieved by the medalists, though the Irish website is currently undergoing an update so you can't get to last year's results from there. (www.swimireland.ie if you're interested.) And you're only a second inside the 100 free qualifying time, so I wouldn't be so cocky if I were you until you find out what the winning times were last year.

I was already slapping the poor boy's wrist over something else, I didn't want to stomp on him completely and I figured you'd be in there like a shot - didn't want to steal your thunder! And he's still suffering from TSD (Texting Shorthand Disease). :joker:

I would presume Mr top10 was meaning long course... can't be sure of course. Also I believe he is 15 whereas some of those guys could be 16. Still, I don't think you should have said those times were rubbish. Beat them first, then be rude :p

You're not hated, dear, so don't be silly! We wrinklies just worry about you children and your "text speak." One of these days you'll all forget how to write properly....and speak properly, with endings on words......and use capital letters and punctuation.......That's enough to be going on with! I'm turning into my mother. Help!

Even at that you can't get QT's, national meets etc from swim leinster - yee don't know how good swimmers have it in the UK compared to Ireland, you have the class ASA website, Bill Sweetenham, and BBC TV Coverage of events like the commonwealth games. In Ireland word of mouth is the only way to find out anything.
