Taxi Service! come and say hello (just ask for me). Will be there in the morning (reports to write this weekend) so not there all day unless I become superhuman tomorrow.

So how did you find the meet went?
I know we had a disaster with the PA at the start (nearly had to borrow one from the local pub). I found the programme print too small. Nowhere to put splits. The results went up quickly and the Refs were very efficient.
Tara nearly went negative on her 200 Back. It was nice to meet her.
I only did the morning session (still slogging my way through reports).

Always a friendly atmosphere at Cranleigh - one of the nicer places to come.
Programme print size was definitely too small and programme too cramped.
Heat in spectator area was pretty bad, but then it was a hot day.
Probably too many swimmers since it over-ran - but the opposite last year so there must be a happy medium!
Son did not swim well but was still tired from school residential trip Mon to Fri.
Didn't notice PA problems!

I agree! The PA probs weren't that noticible apart from none of the swimmers knew when they were meant to warm up! I think they did accept too many swimmers in the 200 events, as 14 heats of a 200 is a long time, but doing over the top starts was a very wise move! I swam ok, good to race again (first time since March) but am paying for it now...being old I dont work too well with no swim down pool!!! :p
Thanks Pete for taking my splits!

O my work Tara - only 14 heats- try 27 at SCASA!
Lets hope it's not the same this weekend.

Well done Tara- Cranleigh's always a nice atmosphere. :p

Well if you're going to start a competition about this how about 48 heats of an 800 ( in a 10 lane pool)
