Sometimes the decisions made by those at the top completely beggar belief. Surely this is a wind up! It's not that I can see that many men wanting to win gold that badly but why bother having sex differentials at all if this is really true.
I doubt very much that there would be any XX folk who have "changed sex" that would be able to qualify in the men's events (for now at least geochuck ;) ) wheras the same may not be true of those born XY but I won't say any more for fear of offending the pc brigade.

Personally I don't think anyone who has had a sex change should be permitted in such events for obvious reasons, but I guess they can't make that ruling as the governing bodies would surely come under fire from some area. It certainly seems crazy that a man can compete in a womens event in such a way...

Rogant, I still need them to bring in 50s before I stand a chance.
