Hearts ASC are not renewing the contract of their head coach and are currently trying to find a replacement.

It was always going to be pretty much impossible to replace their previous coach, Ally Whike whose swimmers made an impact at Scottish, GB and Euro Junior level. Nice to see one of his former stars, Kirsty Balfour, making the step up from Euro junior medallist to the Euro Short Course team for this December. Obviously well prepared for the long term during her development/junior years with Ally.

Looks like Hearts` loss has been St Bede`s School`s gain - a few of their swimmers made an appearance at ASA Nationals i noticed - perhaps the start of something big?
