Electronic Timing and Hy-Tek

At our open meet we intend to hire some brand new Electronic Timing equipment from close rivals Bishops Stortford. Has anyone used Hy Tek software with Electronic timing. If so how did you find it?

I have one of two options:-

1) fork out £160 for the software upgrade
2) manually input the results as normal (the Electronic Timing merely being a crowd and swimmer pleaser)

Which type of electronic timing is it? Omega (ARES21 or OSM6), Colorado, Daktronics?

We use Hy-Tek Meet Manager with Colorado 5 Sports Timer and a 6-lane scoreboard.

Very easy to set-up and operate.

AAAA++++++ :p

P.S. We would never look back after using this.
