Just read the following on the BBC website, obviously he may be still ok for Athens depending on how bad his foot is!

I broke my foot sitting down minding my own business!!!

I actually sprained my ankle really badly playing netball and whilst sat in the hospital with my foot stuck out waiting for attention, then this guy went and walked into my foot and took it sideways, the force actually forced the ligaments that little bit too far and it pulled a piece of bone off my foot! The doctor reckons it wasnt broken initially but that incident just finished it off!
