Try them because you know they have them in stock, or try them because they're a swimming shop and they might?

Haven't got time to phone around all the shops ..... thought someone might have done that already!!!

From what I can see Allen Kingsbury have them in stock:

They were also advertised in their catalogue which I recently received. Would phone up before ordering though, some people had to wait 6 months after they ordered drag trunks before delivery.

They have them to order as Speedo haven't released any yet, but say that they will be the first to get them when they do come in. They also said to me that there will only be limited numbers available when they are released on general sale so if you are keen on getting them first you do need to get an order in.....

Top10ranking: I didn't think that ANYONE other than olympic swimmers had them in stock yet, but I might be wrong.

"Fastskin Suits are special racing suits that fit very tightly. They are not designed for frequent use. These suits may last no more than four race days. This is not a defect but a result of creating a suit that is totally geared for race day wear." - Swimtowin.com

Why would anyone fork out so much for a suit if it only lasted a few swims? You'd have to be winning a fair whack of money in a race to justify it lol

Or being sponsored by the manufacturer...

Although they are only meant to be worn a few occasions per season, numerous swimmers do wear them constantly. This is a silly thing to do as the material will deteriorate, and they are only to be worn when 'shaved down.' Therefore the majority of swimmers do not get the full advantage of them (if theres any at all that is!)

I know! That is one of the things that really annoys me. Like when some people wear them for the club championships, or in the warm-up. There isn't a point. And if you continue wearing the same one over and over, then it just completely loses effect, and will probably make you swim slower because it will have turned quite heavy.
