Hereford Open Meet

I understand this meet takes place in November although there is no information on the Hereford Swimming Club web site. I'd be grateful for any information about session times, programme etc.

Also, if anyone can suggest a decent hotel within striking distance of the venue that would be appreciated.

There is one I know that is within walking distance of the pool, situated in the main street of Hereford. http://www.milford.co.uk/hotels/hereford-green-dragon.html I have a copy of the programme of events which I can scan and post later for you. :)

This is exactly what I need - thank you very much.

I'm just looking at a map of Hereford and would be grateful if you could confirm that the pool is the one off St Martin's Avenue.

My son has changed schools and, as a result, is now in a different swimming region so I'm having to familiarise myself with a new batch of towns/hotels/pools. It's a great way of seeing different places - as long as you can tear yourself away from the spectator gallery of course.

Yes it is the one on St Martins Avenue, there are two pools in Hereford but this Meet is held at Hereford Leisure Pool, No finals this year tho. all HDW.

I am sure there are other hotels but thats the one a lot of people seem to stay in, as its about a 8-10 minute walk to the pool!
