Karl Batorski (16) - naturally Harlow Penguins. At the SC champs in August he took the 100m IM SC Junior record which is not bad for a club with only 40ish squad swimmers.
Chap is self motivated, works really hard, looked up at by his peers and has been advised countless times to move to a bigger club to get more exposure.

So what other club to you go to? Do you know Jordan Tomlinson - I have to race against her sometimes, I'm dreading when she's going to be in my agegroup next year!

I agree, Lizzie and Ellen Gandy both.
Ellen is 13 now but has a "on side" birthday - even without it she's great !

14.
I think that Francessca Halsall is an unbelievably fast swimmer. With her in my age group, it will be a long time before anyone catches up with her. Not only is she National Age groups champion in our country for several events, but she also won gold medals at the Australian age group nationals too. She goes 26.15 (long course) for 50m free and is ranked 6th overall in the country. For her 100m she goes 56.70 (long course) and is ranked 10th overall for that. Not bad for a 14 year old eh?

if u get this twice - apologies - just learning how this things works! I am a new member of this forum and have been spending the last few hours looking through all recent postings just to see exactly what people chat about and this is a reply to your posting about your swimmer obtaining the S.C. 100IM record; I was at Manchester in August and surely he was beaten by David Waslin from Hull ? David is the same age as your swimmer (both March 88). I have checked the ASA webiste which confirms (1) Junior records are only obtainable if UNDER 16 on day of swim and (2) Yes, David did beat your swimmer in Manchester ! Ooops.
SORRY - thought this went direct to the person who posted the original notice (I will learn how this forum works eventually) - this is in response to a posting regarding Karl Bartorski from Harlow
