Well done all the Surrey swimmers at Nationals. Especially Owen and Greta, who swim at small clubs and have stuck with them.

Re Owen at the ASA Nats - can anyone understand why Winchester and Haslemere are linked, as geographically they seem poles apart?

Haslemere were the driving force to get a Waverly Squad going but backed out at the last minute leaving Farnham, Cranleigh and Godalming to go ahead. They have probably linked only because Haslemere's coach was assistant at Winchester. That is only my synopsis, someone else might know more. Not sure of the advantages but there obviously is. Cannot see the swimmers travelling an hour to train together.

hi does any-one know if the southern counties times for 2002 and the national times for 2002 have been poster anywhere yet?
