Hi,

I am a swimming teacher (asa), as well as a pool lifeguard and am thinking about training to teach exercise in water or water aerobics or aquafit (name varies depending on who you talk to)

I know there are a number of organisations who offer acourse (STA/ASA/YMCA), and I was wondering what people thought of the different courses and which qualification was the most widely accepted.

thanks

Graeme

I guess the answer is that all of the ASA/STA/YMCA qualifications are accepted - I have an idea that the YMCA will be a better quality with any luck as they have been known for providing a high standard generally.
I am also providing workshops in deep water running/choreography/etc so if you want any information on these visit my website www.lindak.co.uk
Good luck!
