You have two more weeks left if you wish to enter this meet!!!
Due to increased activity enjoyed by Crystal Palace for open meets, we still have room for more swimmers at our meet...
So whether you are desperate for a long couse NQT or just fancy a race please contact me..

Whilst I would love a swim, I'm simply not fast enough (or young enough!) for your meet. Good luck in finding more swimmers though.
I will be at Beckenham on Saturday. Anyone else there?
I'll be there Saturday morning. :p
Baby H2o doing 100 free and 50 free, althogh still not 100% fit after a very bad bout of flu
Sorry. Not going anymore. No swimmers swimming now.

I won't be going to this meet as i'm going to be training hard to brake some records at the Nations in Aug

The sort of braking you will be doing slows you down.

Some really good swims from Chris Ashton, who is a star and always gets overlooked so WELL DONE CHRIS!
Got cross today because I was told off in the swimdown pool for drinking my drink's bottle. The referee came over and told me "Either swim down or get out!!". I had been resting on the side drinking for less than a minute, and there were little girls in the middle of the pool trying to touch the bottom. Hello? It really annoys me when people get all important and tell you off for no reason at all. I need to drink, it's part of the recovery process. If I had been doing roly polys then I could maybe have seen his point! Sorry for the rant :)
I think sometimes people forget that they are there for the swimmers and not to make themselves important. There are many many good officials but a few who forget to keep in touch with the swimmers and their needs. I wonder how old he thought you were Katie?

I can't imagine why he would get overlooked - I agree with you totally, he is a great swimmer!
Shame your day was slightly spoiled by an over officious official! (I'm sure it wasn't me!!! :p )
