Love the pool in Haslemere, incidently it is where the Surrey Masters event is being held again this year. and therefore:- :king:
Come on you Surrey Masters and Seniors, where are you entries for this years event. Are you going to make the last minute decision on what to swim - as if you don't know. I holiday shortly after the closing date and want to get all the cards out, with birthdates on JB's card of course. Get them in early please.

Spidey, I'm going to do my Club Coach written exam this afternoon. I think I'll just be answering "Surrey Masters" to every question. It's kind of stuck. Cute and catchy. I like it. I feel a song coming on! ;)

KB I was going to wish you good luck but as you will see this afterwards no doubt I really hope it went well.
Hard to believe you have been doing this since October but at least it's all over now.

Thanks crawler. I haven't gone yet. Exam is at 4pm. The time since October has flown by. I'm actually very calm now, cos I know I've revised but won't be calm when faced with the paper. (Watch me fail, now that I've said I've revised!) :clear:

Ta FB. Have had a chat with young GF about yesterday evening's marathon. I've told her to eat and drink lots today.

You are joking aren't you - I'm a far too serious an athlete to chat during training!! ;) Besides our coach tries his darndest to kill us every session, so talking is almost impossible! :doctor:

Although, having reviewed this thread we haven't chatted at all, as for KB we'd have to shout quite loud to be heard between Hampshire & Surrey! :p

If any Surrey Masters that have not yet entered this years competition, - time is running out - if you do enter you will be able to see why I like Haslemere pool. :rainbow:

Hi, I've just joined today. I'm a girl and I'm 30 by the way.
I've been to a few pools. Am heading to Haslemere soon for a weekend and may try and check the pool out. Anything more specific, what is so good about it?
I've trained at Warrender (shut at the mo for upgrade) and Stirling plus I've visited a few others.
Not enough seating room round Stirling is there. I've been to the Citadel in Ayr and it was like being at the Falkirk Mariner during a wave session, gave me quite a work out anyway!
Like Commonwealth for its plain honest style though it gets too busy with kids at times.
:p

If they are male and Band D, don't let them in!

I'll tell you that after tonight's gala. I'm not feeling anywhere near 'in the zone'
