Harlow Penguins are holding its annual Short Course Open meet Saturday and Sunday 24th and 25th September 2005. Last year this event was too successful and as such we are limiting the number of entries to ensure smooth running (and on time finishing).

HPSC invite you to attend its Short Course Open Meet to be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2005

• 6 LANE 25 METER POOL
• ANTI-WAVE LANE ROPES
• SPECTATOR CAPACITY OF 225
• ELECTRONIC TIMING
• Swimming places limited to ensure more comfort (2004 was far to busy!) – we have taken advice from previous entrants, parents and officials. Entries on First come – First served basis

8am 9am Session 1 Sat 24th Sept
1.00pm 2.00pm Session 2 Sat 24th Sept
8am 9am Session 3 Sun 25th Sept
1.00pm 2.00pm Session 4 Sun 25th Sept

Please use the attached forms for completing entries. Swimmer ages are defined as at 31/12/05. Please double check that you have entered the correct age group as entries cannot be altered once the program has gone to print (all cards will be posted to coaches\team managers by September 10th for final checking).

There are three age groups: -
Group A – 1996, 1995 and 1994 born (9, 10 and 11)
Group B – 1993 and 1992 born (12 and 13)
Group C – 1991 born and older (14+)

All events are heat declared winner – there will be no finals.
Fastest swimmers in their group event placed First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth or Sixth will receive medals. There will be no formal medal presentation – awards will be available for collection during the sessions.

Charges
• £3.50 per individual event
• Coaches passes will be £15 for the weekend which includes meals. Passes must be ordered prior to the Open Meet.

All swimmers must post cards 45 minutes before the start of the session. The competition will be run under ASA rules. This is a non-designated open meet.
