Oh dear
Do you understand how important intake of fluids are during a training session?
If you understand, then take the consequences of not having a drink. I personally would not stop you swimming but would not be responsibe if you had serious dehydration problems which impair your performance.
Forget your opinions and have your drink on poolside.

So many swimmers fall into the trap of thinking "I am in the water therefore I do not need to drink". This is nonsense, all sensible athletes take on fluid at regular intervals while training and competing. Even if you do no physical activity at all the recommended daily fluid intake is 2 litres. If you are really interested in doing well at swimming (or any other sport) replace your fluids.
