For those who wish to get some times and pbs in heres the gala for you
Venue: Scarborough Indoor Pool
Age Groups: 9/10 yrs, 11/12 yrs, 13/14yrs, 15+ yrs (All 9 yrs competitors must be 10 by 31.12.05)
Strokes: Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle. All 50m, all age groups. Individual Medley, 100m all age groups.
Cost: £ 2.00 per event - Coaches' Pass: £8.00
The events will be run with heats and finals, with the exception of the 100m IM which will be Heat Declared Winner. The top 3 swimmers in each age group will collect an award.
The event will consist of 3 Sessions:

After event 312 there will be a short break of approximately 15 minutes to prepare for the skins competition.

Event 314
Heat 1 50m skins female,Heat 2 50m skins female,Heat 3 50m skins female,Heat 4 50m skins female,Heat 5 50m skins female
The top 6 male and female competitors from the I.M. races across all age groups will qualify to take part in the skins competition.
There will be a lane draw for the first heat.
After which, swimmers will stay in the same lane until only 2 competitors are left, when Lanes 3 and 4 will then be used.
The stroke to be swum will be randomly chosen.
The last placed swimmer in each heat will drop out until a winner is found. The last placed swimmer will also randomly choose the next stroke.
The winner of each heat will receive £10. The loser of the final heat will receive £10. The overall winner will receive £50.
Any other rules and regulations regarding this meet will be circulated at a later date and entered onto the programme
