Who's going to Scarborough?
I'm doing my usual 4 events: 50 + 100 Free and Breast.
I've had a long lay off since Glasgow, but doing a lot of training...so should be able to get onto the blocks unaided.
I even trained with Orlando Masters in Florida for a couple of sessions whilst on Holiday. They have some brilliant facilities. A 50 yard pool at the YMCA in Orlando that the use 9 sessions a week.
So who will I see at Scarborough then? If not see you Southern based Guys and Gals in Sheffield.

I usually wear an Aquabears hat sponsored by Subaru. Sun tan (just back from Florida) and trimmed grey beard.
See you there!!

Am going as usual. 6 events over the 2 days so not too bad. They aren't posting a programme beforehand this year as they are accepting entries until an hour before......Hey Nev, I drive an Impreza WRX...think they'd sponsor me...!!???

I got the sponsorship..worth about £500 when I drove the old Impreza Turbo..downgraded to a sport now. We worked out about 6 of the swimmers had Subaru cars, so the local garage gave us the money..we bought t- shirts and caps

Hmmm think the rest drive Fords and stuff like that..and maybe that's why our caps have an electronic firm on them and a power tools sponsor on the T-shirts!!!! See you at Scarborough.

Just got back from Scarborough.
Nice meeting you, Odmaster. I hope you swam well.
It was a bit of a stressful meet for me.
No Program...so had to rely on the posted board. That's not easy when you need glasses to read but not swim
Tooooo warm. Why do we need to have galas in pools with the thermostats turned up. Just needed my soap.
100 free immediately after my 100 breaststroke...thought I was going to die on the last length.
Still got it out of my system. Times not too bad and always got the cool pool at Sheffield to look forward to next month.

Not too bad a meet. 2 silvers and 4 bronzes and 1 PB, despite feeling awful on Sunday morning (no alcohol involved by the way). Thought the pool was warm and a lot of us has scratchy throats and bad noses on the 2nd day cos of it I think. Not doing Sheffield though cos am on hols the week before. Venturing into deepest Wales to the Bangor meet this weekend instead......

Did the NECASA Long Course meet take place at Leeds in July?
If so, where can I find the results?
