Hi!
I would make sure her enjoyment of swimming isn't affected even if the results are not exactly what she wants.
Keep the training she does varied and maybe introduce something new as her body and mind may be stuck with the same old thing over and over again!
This is a perfect and positive time to assess what she has acheived and plan her goals and strategies for the next stage. Just like a game! It can be fun if you keep it positive!!
Let me know how she gets on!

Just realise that there is A LOT more to swimming than PB's and medals, that proper progress takes years not days and she will be fine.
I have also reached a plateau, all my freestyle times are 2 years old and I'm only 17. I train well lapping people in my lane only to be beaten by them in my best events at galas. Why!?

i went through a HORRIBLE time where i did no pbs (and was way off my pbs) for about 4 years, however i went on a training camp and tried some new training, and by the end of the week at the gala i was doing huge pbs eg: 12 secs on a 200 and now (touch wood) they r going down everytime i swim! it is as much a mental thing as a physical thing, in fact i would say it is more menatl, she has got to BELIEVE she can do it, perhaps try a few new events. i tries the 200fly, 200free,400free which i had never done in competition before, and they r now the ones i enjoy most and they r my best events!
