I am planning to a repeat of 2001 to compete at all events possible in the year. Not as in all swimming competitions but the events i.e. 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m Free e.t.c, short and long course, 35 events in total. Whilst there will be an abundance of short course meets, what Masters L/C meets are planned. Any one preparing their calander? :rainbow:

I guess that given this:
http://www.southernswimming.org/news/2005_regionalisation.shtml
there isn't going to be a Southern Counties LC at CP next year, but of course you knew that already.

Is there any prospect of the new ASA London Region organising a Masters LC meet at CP?

Or alternatively, can Masters meets be organised by anyone who thinks they can do so in a profitable manner, i.e. who can attract sufficient numbers of people to take part? If so, might some enterprising person perhaps decide that an open LC Masters meet at CP might still be a viable proposition?

I think it's a great idea, and I'm very seriously looking at joining Spidey in his quest. However I think Spidey is telling a minor porkie, as his website doesn't show a PB for LC 200 Fly :p (leaving aside the question of why anyone would ever want to swim 200m of butterfly...)

The Wycombe meet has an 800, so that has to be the starting point, you've got to take the longer swims where you can get them.

NVF - as the Car Registration and web address asks, Y 200 FLY ? Hence no L/C time. The s/c time was one of two only swims, being 1984 and 1994. :rainbow:
