Can anyone with intelligence explain to me in layman terms how RSS works and would it be possible to set up on a clubs website as an additional function?

Thanks

I know I can syndicate the news on the Barracudas (http://www.barracudas-sc.org.gg) website, but that's because the functionality is built into PHP-Nuke (http://www.phpnuke.org/).

I would have to say that I can't imagine it's easy to accomplish with Frontpage .....

Note to Steve: Get some decent web authoring software ;)

I've just woken up to RSS and started to look for feeds with swimming content relevant to the UK. OK, it's possible to scan through the BBC and various newspapers and discard the golf and rugby items; Swimming World has one but it's heavily US biased; and Eurosport has some good info but no RSS feed! I'm hoping the ASA might start their own RSS feed at some point, but meantime, does anyone have favourite sources of swimming news/info in the RSS format?
