Katy Sexton was supposed to compete last weekend in the Queensland open in Australia with the boys from the off shore training centre but she was injured I heard

Her application to switch nationalities was approved by the British Swimming Board and I understand she is now eligible to compete for Australia in FINA meets, although the change still needs to be ratified by the Commonwealth Games Federation for her to be able to swim in Melbourne.

IIRC, the CGF did not allow Sion Brinn to swim for England in Manchester (or maybe KL) because he had previously swum for Jamaica in the Commonwealth Games so it is by no means a forgone conclusion.

tbh shes too muscley for a girl - all the olympic womans swimmers are too built to be honest!

I guess they use their legs too much for those six beat kicks.... Perhaps you can persuade FINA to introduce a point system like figure skating where the time they need to get to the other end only counts for one fifth of the score, a beautiful dive another fifth, perfect technique another fifth and we'll save two fifths for good looks ?
