Did anyone go to the Ulster Masters in Belfast today?

Yes I was there - combining it with long weekend in Newtownards with parents and brother's family came along last night. Gettingfaster was there too for the day - meeting up with some of her rellies.
Not many swimmers not much rest between swims but I managed 5/5 pb's 4 bronze 1 silver. Sadly the much anticipated clash of the E 50m breast was balls-ed up by the electronics going dead. on manual times it looked like the winner and I both went inside the Irish record but of course it wouldnt stand. General verdict was he got it by a long fingernail. Took nearly two secs off my 100m IM when I was supposed to be holding something back for the 100 breast but still pb'd in it too.
So being still here and flying back tonight means I miss the intercounties fiasco at ALdershot pool (see Masters thread) but on reflection I would probably not reach end of pool in my current condition.

Maybe I saw ya! well there only two of us and i was wearing swim club i love the boss hat. i swim under ards as can only set ni or irish records with irish club, and more importantly i come from ards! didnt see your name in the schedule unless me course thats not your real name!

You wouldnt have seen my name because I wasnt competing. Was just spectating. It was all a little confusing at times and the PA system was awful.
