NW Regional LC Results and 2006 Events

Swimnorthwest website is seriously lacking information about swimming. It lags behind all other Region's web offerings.

why oh why don't north west and lancashire give out a draft start list...they can make sure they cannot download them but it would give housebound supporters to see who is competing...what do you think...laurie

Probably many reasons:

Draft start lists are often completely meaningless. The number of dropouts means that heats on the day will be completely different.
Draft start lists aren't actually that useful. The important people (the swimmers) will find out on the day. It is not hard to work out approximately when you will be swimming based on your time.
Producing draft start lists takes time. As everyone who runs competitions is a volunteer this time could probably be better used doing other stuff.
The people that know how to update the website are different people to those that organise the championships. Posting draft start lists on the web requires effort from both sets of people.
