thank you for place on site, but broomhill was closed in 2002 and we have been campaigning for the past four years to get it restored and re-opened

the current situation is that the Broomhill Pool Trust are conducting a full scale Feasibility Study January-August 2006, in the hope of producing by Sept a possible business plan to ensure its long-term future
Log on to the Twentieth Century Society's site to look at Building of the Month: this shows archive photos and the current state of the pool

dear all
the broomhill pool site www.savebroomhillpool.org has exchanged links with RALSA and with many other campaign groups to strengthen and widen everyone's participation; i am currently having Google news alerts sent to my computer once a day on "swimming pools uk" and this enables me to keep abreast of a whole range of swimming pool stories and campaigns.

The London Pools campaign has the audio link to the Today programme on
22nd feb - "Broomhill lido on Today programme" for instance.

Would like to re-recommend the Lidos Yahoo website, moderated by Oliver Merrington: this also has bang up to date information on parliamentary debates, consultations, etc
