There's a list of what's on when in UK times on pullbuoy:
http://www.pullbuoy.co.uk/comm06schedule.html?1

CG is listed on the omega site as a future event for live timing coverage, so I suppose we'll see lists of swimmers on there at some point in the near future:

Thanks Haddock.

Not too many entries are there! That's a bit disappointing ....

The men's 400 free is practically empty! They can't even fill 3 heats! Nice to see they've given some of the English swimmers extra swims, like Kate Richardson in the 200 free. Also interesting to see that Mel Marshall's doing the 100 back not the 100 free. It means Amy Smith gets an individual swim in the 100 free which is good. :)

The Backstroke would have made the 50m backstroke final and two semis if had been selected. Strange how even South Africa took some junior swimmers to give them the experience of a big meet:cry:

The thing that stood out to me, looking at the start lists, is the amazing dominance of the Australian women in the 100 free. All 3 of them have entry times below 54 seconds. Nobody else has an entry time below 55 seconds, there's over 1.5 seconds gap from the 3rd Australian to the next fastest swimmer at the meet!!!!

I think" The Backstroke" should read "The Backstroker" - forum member. Shame they weren't selected.:thumb:

There are plenty of english swimmers higher ranked than the backstroker who are sitting watching the games back home rather than swimming. Even more disappointing when swimmers are added to events that they haven't even qualified for or even bothered to swim in the stage 3 event.

Try this too. Seems a little more user friendly than the Omega site, and not so many pdf files to open up.

Although it said in the qualifying information that it would only be in "exceptional" circumstances that extra swims would be offered, I for one am delighted that English people will get to see more of the English swimmers who are in Melbourne. Let's wish them all well in everything they have been allowed to swim in.

The Backstroke is registered as Welsh not English. Not many ahead of him there

Darn shame he didn't get to go, but he clearly has lots of potential still to come out. I swear that boy grows at least an inch each time he's away, he'll be hitting his head on the ceilings before long!
