Work in or around east Midlands area next year.

I live in Perth Western Australia and i am AUSTSWIM qualified. I also have my Bronze Medalion (Australian lifesaving qualification) and plan to get my Green license within the next couple of months (primary coaching license).

I will be coming to England April 07 and am curious about the availability of work teaching in or around the east Midlands area in that month and the months following. Also are short term employment positions in swimming common and available to travellers especially at that time of year?

Any info. and advice would be extremely helpful and enormously appreciated! :)

I take my son to a council pool for lessons in Leicester, East Midlands. They are at present short of teachers and are cancelling classes, to my detriment. Since it's a council pool, and is in a deprived area (I live a bit outside the area), I don't know how good or otherwise the pay would be, or if they take on short term staff.
