This is a lovely 50 yard lido that is open afternoons from end May to early September. It's claim is to be the oldest in UK. Every year it has to fight for survival but is still hanging on in there. Few years back they wanted to build a scate board park on the site, however, you can have one of those anywhere but a pool of this kind is special.
With the huge water shortages in this area we are:flash: :flash: praying there will be enough water to fill it as it is fed from an underground spring.:wave:
Lewes is not far from Brighton so if you are in the area I would recomend an afternoon visit to this lovely pool. It is unheated so great training for Open Water aclimatisation.:clear:
