Can anyone out there help? I have genuine adult size 13 feet, my kick is next to useless. Advice has been to get fins. There in lies the problem, I can't find any genuine size 13 Fins. I have tried two varieties from swimshop that claim to be 13's, but in reality they are not. (For those old enough I suspect they were measured using a fisherman's tape measure). Elsewhere on this site I was pointed to TYR splitfins and Swimstop. They claim to have 13's but I don't want to spend (wasted) money again on a mis-advertised advert. Is there anyone out there with size 13 feet who got decent training fins they are happy with and if so can you advise details.

My son takes size 15 now and we've given up trying to get fins. (Who needs them with size 15 feet anyway!). In my experience the sizing for fins is American so they are always a size too small. I have a pair of American size 14/15 that are probably a size 13. We live in Bucks and son swims for Barnet Copthall - if you're nearby you can have them. Let me know.

For fins and advise on ankle flexibility see the post I put up on the thread below. Good thing is the fins i mention go up to size 13..... I use the 12-13 size and there is definately room for a 13 in them!

The bigest fins I know of are TYR's Splitfin XXXL USA size 13-14, that's about UK 12-13 (Clear Colour fins). If they did not fit, nothing will that I know of. I use a Eur size 45/46 fin which is about UK 11, but my feed are size 12. It's tight but I can just get than on!
The only other opion is to call some diving shops and see if they make larger fins.
