Open Meets in and around Bath/ Bristol area

Hi , My eldest daughter is going to Bristol UWE in September , hoping to look at doing some open meets in that area (with youngest ,Age Grouper) , so as to combine a meet or two during the year and trips down to see eldest at Uni.

Can anyone point me in the direction of Uni of Bath swim club website , I see that last year they had an Age Groups meet early Dec , but cant find any details..
also any other meets anyone may know of in that vicinity would be of interest.

That site hasn't been updated since before I went to Bath which was in Sept 2003!!!

This file has up to date meets. If you look at the bottom you'll see the South West regional competition in early november at Weston-super-mare. There are also meets in Millfield which isn't too far from the Bristol/Bath area.

Is the pool at Bath ok for Galas ( spectating etc) , its a 50m pool I hear.

Hi sory , it doesnt look as if there are any meets at Bath Univ 50m pool registered on meets list (yet) ...
anyone know any dates?

Should you find a meet. there's a decent gallery at Bath - quite deep but one side only and only half the length of the pool. My nearest and dearest tell me shopping in town is very good too if you get the chance.
