Calendar of Races

Hello All,

Im looking to do some open water races in the next couple of months. Is there a calendar of races available anywhere? Im based in London, so mainly interested in races in the southeast.

The Bournemouth pier-to-pier sounded right up my alley, but I have obviously missed that one this year.

see post on the Outdoor Swimming Society who are organising swims in Sept, i think; their website is new, launched only 3-4 weeks ago;

for training, Tooting Bec Lido stays open all the year round; contact the South London Swimming Club for details: www.slsc.org.uk They held the first UK Coldwater championships there this year - Jan 2006

the Great Swim is also an annual event
