Car park warning

Just had a phone call from a friend in Sheffield VERY peed off at having had his car broken into at the Hotel Bristol last night - not sure if this was in the multistorey bit or at ground level. Could happen anywhwre, I know, but be warned.

We have just returned from Sheffield and although did not stay in a hotel near the pool, we parked on Sunday in the car park outside the Ibis and there were numerous areas of broken glass from car windows - in fact when you get a ticket from the machine it warns you not to leave valuables in sight!!! - mostly we parked at Ponds Forge, quite reasonable compared to other car parks in the area but the one by the Ibis is FREE on a sunday and lets face it, it costs enough to go to the Nationals as it is!!!
