Magazine article

I don't get the magazine regularly by any means, but picked up a copy of this week's 'Woman's Weekly' (dated 8th Aug) because it has an article titled 'Loving lidos' which runs through a brief history and an outline of the campaigns to prevent further closures. It seems to be based on the Janet Smith book 'Liquid Assets' and also gives the www.lidos.org.uk website address.

Good to see this sort of publicity in a mainstream magazine like that, I thought :)

Thought of contacting them a few weeks ago in the hope of getting a lido article in, so great that it's actually happened!

Have just rushed out to buy a copy: page 33 "Loving Lidos" - showing Parliament Hill and London Fields before its restoration

The Sunday Times magazine is also planning an article, for 13th August, as far as we know.
