Ten years ago Colin Osborne was told he had only three months to live, after being diagnosed with testicular cancer; determined to fight for his own survival and help others, Colin founded Orchid: the Men's Charity for testicular cancer.
The latest fund-raising event is an underwater relay team crossing of the Channel: "This seemed a fitting way to celebrate 10 years in "remission"," he said. Mr.Osborne is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and this event has been planned for over a year. August 4th onwards is their window of opportunity.
